Wooden cleats - pack of 10 pairs

Wooden cleats - pack of 10 pairs

10 pack of pairs (enough to hang 10 paintings)

Poplar plywood french cleats

Choosing to use a cleat:

This is a hanging technique that I use on my smaller works when I've decided not to frame them. The painting is held to the wall by gravity, and appears to 'float' off the wall.

Recommended use:

Made to hang flat timber panel paintings that are

11cm - 30cm wide

11cm - 40cm tall

Dimensions:

When both cleats are placed in a closed pair position, the total area is:

10cm wide (so your painting needs to be at least this wide!)

10cm tall (so your painting needs to be at least this tall!)

2.4cm thick (so your painting will appear float this far off the wall)

Application:

You will need to buy some glue (PVA is fine)
