STRUCTURAL OPTIONS
 
1) Flat board
Default. No hanger. Take it to a framer so it can be hung, or lean it against the wall on a shelf.
 
2) French cleat hanger
A simple hanger added to the back of the painting. Makes the painting appear to 'float' out from the wall a few centimetres.
 
3) Cradled sides
Industry-standard structure that has sides (same as stretched canvas works you'd see hung in a gallery). The painting will stick out a few centimetres from the wall, and be flush with the wall. Wire hanger on the back. No frame.
 
4) Frame
Timber archival frame made by local artist. Wire hanger on back.
